Cricklade Road Practice Professional Staff
Miss Renata Lee Sharp, BSc (Hons) Ost
Renata trained at the ‘British School of Osteopathy’ (BSO) in London and completed a four year degree in 2001, receiving a
Bsc Hons in Osteopathy. On graduating she worked in a London Clinic before moving to work in Gilmour Piper one of the largest
UK multidisciplinary practices in Ipswich, Suffolk. During these 5 years, she worked with a dynamic team of healthcare
professionals, in a practice at the fore front of its field in its integrated approach to healthcare. She has post graduate
training in both Cranial and visceral Osteopathy and regularly attends seminars and conferences to maintain and update her
knowledge basis.
In her free time she enjoys the challenge and discipline involved in training and competing in marathons. This has fuelled her
interest with sports related injuries and biomechanical dysfunction in sporting individuals.
Renata moved to Wiltshire in 2006, becoming the director of Cricklade Road Practice and has used her previous experience to
develop the practice into a dynamic integrated centre of healthcare. She is a member of the
British Osteopathic Association
, registered with the
General Osteopathic Council and has been practicing for 8 years and recognised by all
major health insurers.
Amanda Barker, BSc (Hons) Ost
Amanda trained in Osteopathy at the Oxford Brookes University and after a five year degree qualified in 2008 with a
1st class honours degree. Prior to her Osteopathic training, she also completed a diploma in Sports Massage Therapy, and has been
treating from Cricklade Road Practice since 2006.
She’s a cricket lover but has never played the game, as she prefers to dabble in squash and keep fit, plus the (very)
occasional half marathon. It was following the London Moon walk that she discovered how beneficial Sports Massage could be!
She is a member of the
British Osteopathic Association, registered with the
General Osteopathic Council and is
recognised by most of the major health insurers.
Ms Pippa Lawrence, LBSH, MARH
Pippa trained at the British School of Homeopathy in Bristol, graduating in 1999 after an intensive 4 year
course. Since graduating she has practiced both from home and Cricklade Road Practice.
Her interest in homeopathy began 19 years ago, when her young son developed a persistent cough which was
diagnosed as asthma. Wanting to help her son enjoy better health, she took him along to see a homeopath,
who treated him and successfully resolved his symptoms. This started her long standing belief in this
natural system of medicine.
Pippa has more recently completed a post-graduate course, involving an in depth study of the remedies and
the philosophies that underpin homeopathy.
Attending regular seminars and courses enables her to increase and update her knowledge. The more recent
seminar subjects being: - hormonal problems; ADHD and developmental problems; vaccination; the digestive
system; treating skin symptoms.
Pippa has been practising for 10 years, is registered with the
Alliance of Registered Homeopaths
and is recognised by the major health insurers.
