As a general rule allow for three sessions. However, the number and frequency of appointments will always be determined by your specific needs and wishes.

Although Sports Massage can help the elite and recreational athlete, it can also benefit the more sedentary amoungst us. Most people can benefit from Massage including children.

Yes. You will be advised of ways to self manage between treatments, this may involve exercises, advise concerning activities to include/exclude, lifestyle modification, and consultation with HCP'S. Your practitioner will advise you accordingly.
All of our Osteopaths are registered with, and regulated by the General Osteopathic Council (GOSC). They are also members of the British Osteopathic association (BOA).
You may be required to undress to your underwear for a full examination to take place, so please wear under garments that you are comfortable with.

The initial consultation and any subsequent treatments are 30 minutes. Your practitioner will give you an idea regarding how long they anticipate the course of treatment to take, and therefore a guide regarding costs.

No. You can self refer to an osteopath. We are trained in examination and diagnosis and will formulate an independent diagnosis.
We have practitioners registered with all the major health insurance companies including BUPA, PPP etc. Please advise us when booking your appointment, so we can make sure you are placed with an appropriate practitioner.

Yes, there is parking at the front of the building.
We are happy to work alongside other practitioners, and in many cases it can be very beneficial. We would encourage you to advise all involved of the treatments you are receiving out of curtisy to avoid any unnecessary confusion.

At present, we only takes privately paying patients as the Wiltshire Primary care trust (PCT) does not presently provide NHS treatments.Please contact your local PCT for further advice.

They will be able to advise you whether to continue with your normal work pattern, or refrain from work for a period of time, and if necessary they are authorised to sign off work certificates.
Osteopaths are trained in diagnosis and medical screening, so will be able to establish in the initial consultation if they are the appropriate practitioner to treat your complaint. For more information please review Osteopathy: What we treat.

Any recent x-ray / scans / tests results can be useful (but not essential). Also a list of current medication can be helpfull.
